Mémé Watanabe BSc (Hons)

Personalised Nutrition

“Understanding a clients' health and nutritional status is a window into the complexity of the human body and the possibility to understand how small changes at root cause can have a domino-like effect that can create positive change in health. I’m fascinated by the fast-developing technology and science that is revealing innovative ways to work on health and wellbeing. However, I firmly believe in using well-researched studies together with connecting with the client to understand their needs to provide the right recommendations.“

Mémé Watanabe has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Middlesex, a Nutritional Therapy Practice Diploma from CNELM, a Diploma in Health and Nutrition from Greenwich University and BCNH and is a certified NLP (neurolinguistic programming) practitioner. Her interest in nutrition started in 2002 after taking two rounds of antibiotics, she developed various symptoms including skin and gut issues that seem to improve when certain foods were eliminated. After years of self-study, she left her work with humanitarian causes to pursue a career in nutrition.

Mémé, was born in Canada to Japanese parents but grew up and has lived in the UK for over 40 years. Her 30 years of meditation practice has contributed to her interest in the power of the mind and how it can be used as an integrative approach to nutrition. She is also interested in mindful and non-violent communication some of which she learnt during her previous life work for non-government organisations such as Peace Boat, The Bhutan Nuns Foundation and Elroi Hope Centre for Destitute Children. Her commitment to supporting individuals has extended into her work in nutrition with a particular interest in gut and brain health and Alzheimer’s Disease. Mémé is the founder of Biohealth Clinic, she also provides live and dry blood analysis sessions and works for The Centre for Integrative Sports Nutrition.

"Mémé was fantastic - and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting great nutritional support. I found her to be extremely thorough in her work and highly knowledgeable. After my initial consultation I received a very well thought through plan which helped enormously. I was able to get my hormones more stable and my digestion has improved. I found that she left no stone unturned - she went through a lot of things in great detail. I feel like my life has got back on track - during the months that I was seeing her it felt like I was given great advice as well as having a personal coach guide me to better health." - Astra, founder of Skylab Studio, London
